The VMA extends is congratulations to Brian Morris and Trish McNamara, who have attained the highest recognition of industry achievement by being awarded the CFE at the recent VMA Annual Congress & Showcase, May 16-18 at the Gold Coast, Queensland.

CFE was established in 1976 by IAAM to recognize excellence in the professional development and competence of managers of public assembly facilities.

The CFE designation says three important things about a venue executive:

he or she is a skilled manager
is committed to the industry
and is pledged to continued professional growth and development
